Cinema St. Louis co-presents free filmmaking camps to local kids (ages 8-18), providing hands-on learning opportunities in filmmaking. The camps teach basic filmmaking principles and take participants through the entire production process, from a film’s inception to completion.
AGES 8 – 18 (All classes are free)
- Spring Break Film Academy (March 17–21): Half-day workshops for ages 8–18. (camp session is in the past)
- Summer Film Camps (July 7-11): Half-day animation film camp for kids ages 14-18 in partnership with the Julia Davis branch of the St. Louis Public Library. Register with St. Louis Public Library
- Showcase Summer Camp (July 21–25): Learn the ins and outs of animation, screenwriting, or documentary filmmaking with Cinema St. Louis during the annual St. Louis Filmmakers Showcase Film Festival. These camps are for kids ages 8-18. To register, please complete this Google Form.
